First Time?
What to Expect
Getting a tattoo should feel good from start to finish. Here's how the process works at Main Street Tattoo Company.
Consultation
- Tell us your idea — in person, by message, or through the contact form
- Your artist will work with you on design, sizing, and placement
- We'll give you an honest price estimate upfront
Before Your Appointment
- Eat a good meal and stay hydrated
- Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the tattoo area
- Avoid alcohol the night before
- Get a good night's sleep
Day Of
- Arrive on time — we'll have everything prepped for you
- Your artist will walk you through the design and placement before anything starts
- Clean, sterile, and professional environment at all times
- Complimentary coffee and water while you're here
During Your Session
- Communicate with your artist — breaks are totally fine
- Bring headphones, a book, or a friend for longer sessions
- Relax and trust the process
Aftercare
- Your artist will bandage the tattoo and walk you through aftercare instructions
- Follow the care routine for the best healing results
- Reach out anytime if you have questions during healing
Touch-Ups
- Touch-ups are free for 3 months after your tattoo
- Just reach out once you're fully healed if anything needs a second pass
